OBJECTIVE: To formally recognize VPP Employees who give their time, effort, and talents to promote worker health and safety within Region VI area of VPP sites.
CRITERIA: You can have participated as a Mentor, Outreach representative, or as a SGE. You must have completed 2 of any of the following within the calendar year 2022.
a. Participate on a VPP On-site Evaluation Team
b. Assist the Regional VPP Manager with the review of a site’s VPP application.
c. Assist the Regional VPP Manager/OSHA VPP Coordinator with the review of VPP sites’ Annual Self-Evaluation Report.
d. Serve as an instructor/co-instructor for the SGE Course.
e. Serve as an instructor/co-instructor for the VPP Application Workshop.
f. Provide on-site mentoring to a potential or reapproving VPP site outside of your own company/organization.
g. Present a VPP or related safety and health topic at a Regional or National VPPPA Conference.
